Day 1

Arrival in Cairo

Egyptian Museum

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, meet the Travel Express representative, who will assist you with airport customs and arrival formalities.

Begin your Egyptian adventure with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to more than 250,000 artifacts spanning over 5,000 years of history.

After the visit, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Day 2

Cairo – Aswan

High Dam – Philae Temple – Felucca Ride

After breakfast (or a breakfast box), transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan.

Upon arrival, visit the world-famous Aswan High Dam, an engineering masterpiece completed in 1960 that provides electricity and irrigation throughout Egypt.

Continue to the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis, featuring impressive shrines and sanctuaries.

Enjoy a traditional Felucca sailing experience on the legendary Nile River, offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Weather permitting, experience the peaceful sailing of this traditional wooden boat. In case of insufficient wind, a motorboat will be provided.

Transfer to your 5-star Nile Cruise for embarkation.

Day 3

Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu

Abu Simbel – Kom Ombo Temple

Early in the morning (approximately 04:00), depart by coach for the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, one of Egypt’s greatest archaeological treasures.

Originally threatened by the rising waters of the Nile, the temples were carefully relocated by UNESCO stone by stone to preserve this extraordinary monument for future generations.

Admire the colossal statues of Ramses II, standing approximately 20 meters high, and visit the beautiful temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari.

After returning, the cruise sails to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the Crocodile God, and Horus the Elder, the Falcon God.

Continue sailing towards Edfu.

Day 4

Edfu – Luxor

Edfu Temple

After breakfast, visit the magnificent Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples of Ancient Egypt.

Continue sailing to Luxor via Esna.

In the evening, enjoy a lively Fancy Dress Party onboard the cruise.

Day 5

Luxor – Cairo

Valley of the Kings – Hatshepsut Temple – Karnak & Luxor Temples

After breakfast, disembark from the Nile Cruise.

Explore the West Bank of the Nile, including:

• Valley of the Kings

• Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

• Colossi of Memnon

Continue to the East Bank to visit:

• Luxor Temple

• Karnak Temple, connected by the famous Avenue of Ram-Headed Sphinxes.

Transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo.

Upon arrival, enjoy dinner before checking in to your hotel.

Cairo – Alexandria – Cairo

After breakfast, travel by private air-conditioned coach to Alexandria, Egypt’s second-largest city and its principal Mediterranean seaport.

• Seafood Lunch

• El Montazah, the former summer residence of the Egyptian Royal Family

Return to Cairo after the tour.

Pyramids of Giza & The Great Sphinx

After breakfast, explore the legendary Giza Plateau.

Visit the magnificent:

• Great Pyramid of Cheops

• Pyramid of Chephren

Continue to the iconic Great Sphinx, the legendary guardian of Ancient Egypt featuring the head of King Chephren and the body of a lion.

After lunch, return to the hotel for some leisure time.

Day 8

Old Cairo – Departure

After breakfast, discover the historic district of Old Cairo.

Visit:

• Hanging Church of the Virgin Mary

• Jewish Synagogue

• Amr Ibn El Aas Mosque

Continue to the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest and most fascinating traditional markets in the Middle East, offering an impressive selection of gold and silver jewellery, handicrafts and local products.

After the tour, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
